My name is Rainie May, and I am a graphic artist. I was born in Colorado with the vibrant orange hues of Garden of the Gods, but raised in New Hampshire with the lush green foliage of the White Mountains. I have learned much about trending design, successful branding, and innovative art, and I am constantly putting my abilities to the test. Art is forever evolving, and I am determined to evolve with it.

I have an Associate of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from Delaware County Community College located outside of Philadelphia. For years, I strengthened my skill set, expanded my artistic creativity, and gained experience working with multiple clients, non-profit organizations, and different design platforms.

Since August of 2021, I have been the graphic artist and web designer for Waterville Valley Ski Resort in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. As part of the Marketing & Events Department, I contribute to and manage the brand development and visual identity of the resort, event & campaign coordination and visual assets, design and complete multiple collateral projects including alpine, nordic, valley and town maps, base and town signage, displays, banners, posters, marketing advertisements & assets, photography, and social media campaigns & graphics, as well as design and manager three different web platforms including Waterville.com, VisitWatervilleValley.com, and Silver Fox Inn.com.

Apart from my daily roles, I have great experience in managing multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, gathering website, social, and google analytics, and creating informative & intricate slide decks, presentations, one-pagers, flyers, email campaigns, packages, and marketing reports.

Before working at Waterville Valley Resort, I spent three years as a senior graphic artist at American Marketing Inc. in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. I designed and digitized logos, designs, and prints in both the screen-printing and embroidery departments. In this position, I gained skills and knowledge in communicating with clients and contract costumers one-on-one in a professional environment while also managing multiple art orders and deadlines in a timely manner. After being employed by American Marketing Inc., I learned and increased my knowledge of brand management, types of garments & materials, customized products, and color theory.

I am exceptionally proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat. I am incredibly knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, web hosting platforms, Canva, print, digital, & web design, and also have extensive experience in screen-printing, embroidery, marketing & events, advertising, and brand management. I have worked on many projects which include the use of all applications, and produced a multitude of pieces for U.S. Ski & Snowboard, BMW, 603 Brewery, Wintersticks, The Tesla Science Foundation, The Communitarian Newspaper, Pegasus Literary Magazine, and more.
